I’m Ruuben, the DJ and MC behind The Ruuben Experience. I specialize in creating wedding celebrations that feel elegant, personal, and unforgettable from the first announcement to the final song of the night.

From the dance floor to the decks.

I was born and raised in Aruba, and my path to DJing began with dance classes. When an injury at school meant I had to stop dancing, I started exploring how to play music on a computer. During that time, I discovered DJing.

For me, music is more than just filling a dance floor. It is about reading the room, guiding the energy, and making sure every important moment feels intentional. From grand introductions and first dances to packed dance floors and after-party energy, I focus on creating a smooth, polished experience that lets couples fully enjoy their day.

I’ve been a wedding DJ since 2002. Today, The Ruuben Experience brings that experience to destination weddings in Aruba: personal music, thoughtful hosting and a celebration shaped around the two of you.

When your favorite people travel here to celebrate, I want them to feel part of the evening. I can host in English, Spanish, Dutch and Papiamento, and work with your planner and photography and video team around the moments you want to remember.

My goal is simple: to give every couple a celebration that feels effortless, elevated, and completely their own.
